Prolonged culture of primary human keratinocytes isolated from suction blisters

Abstract: Keratinocytes are the most abundant cell type in the epidermis. They prevent desiccation and provide immunological and barrier defense against potential pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans.
