“…Acquired QTc prolongation also occurs at higher rates in patients with advancing CKD than in the general population. It is predicted by pathologic LVH, atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, diabetes, heart failure, electrolyte disturbances, use of QT prolonging medications, and hemodialysis-related fluxes in electrolyte concentrations [5‒8].
