Prolactin (<I>PRL</I>) and Prolactin Receptor (<I>PRLR</I>) Genes and their Role in Poultry Production Traits

Abstract: Prolactin (PRL), secreted from the anterior pituitary, plays extensive roles in osmoregulation, corpus luteum formation, mammogenesis, lactogenesis, lactopoiesis, and production of crop milk.
