Lopes Ferreira: Jamski nevretenčarji v severozahodnem predelu Minas Gerais, Brazilija: endemizem, ogroženost in vidiki varovanja Kraška področja in jame v Braziliji so zaradi visoke gospodarske vrednosti že desetletja prizadeta. Posledično so, zlasti v zadnjih letih, pritegnila pozornost upravljalcev, okoljskih agencij in raziskovalcev. V pričujoči študiji so zbrani podatki o jamski favni severozahodnega območja Minas Gerais v Braziliji s poudarkom na bogastvu vrst in endemizmu, poleg ugotovljenih vplivov in nevarnosti, ki se pojavljajo v teh okoljih ter jam in drugih ranljivih predelov, za katere predlagamo ukrepe za njihovo ohranitev. Tri jame so bile opredeljene kot prednostne za ohranitev: jama Lagoa Rica v Paracatu in jami Lapa Nova in Lapa da Delza v Vazante. Poleg tega so bile prepoznane tri regije, kjer naj bi se izvajali ukrepi varovanja: Arinos, Paracatu in Cabeceira Grande/Unaí. Največja grožnja na teh območjih, kjer je registriranih 85% jam, je izsekavanje gozdov in sprememba v pašnike za vzgojo govedoreje. Glavna priporočila so zaščita področja, ozaveščanje prebivalstva in biospeleološke raziskave v drugih jamah na proučevanem območju. Vse raziskovane jame so heterogene, z edinstvenimi lastnostmi. Priporočene so raziskave v čim večjem številu jam, kot dodana vrednost pri načrtih za ohranjanje in varovanje jamske favne. Ključne besede: nevretenčarji, jame, varovanje, endemizem. attention of managers, environmental agencies and researchers, especially in recent years. The present study collected information regarding the cave invertebrate fauna of the Northwest region of Minas Gerais, Brazil, such as species richness and endemisms, besides the impacts and threats occurring in these environments, identifying caves and more vulnerable areas and proposing conservation actions. Three caves were identified as a priority for conservation: Lagoa Rica cave in Paracatu, and Lapa Nova and Lapa da Delza caves in Vazante. Another three areas were considered in need of conservation actions: regions of Arinos, Paracatu and Cabeceira Grande/Unaí. The main threat found in the area was the conversion of forests into pastures for cattle breeding, registered in the surroundings of 85% of the caves. The main recommendations were the recuperation of the surroundings, awareness raising of the population and biospeleological inventories in other caves of the area. The studied caves were very heterogeneous, presenting unique characteristics. Thus, the study of the highest possible number of caves of the region of interest is always recommended, to aid in conservation and action plans for cave fauna.

Abstract. The Lenggong Valley, from a standpoint of natural tourism research, presents strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges that can be utilized to help increase the opportunities for the local community to increase their standard of living. Asar Cave comprises one of the caves that are found in Lenggong. A series of external studies have been done on Asar Cave in order to measure its potential for natural tourism in Lenggong.

RESUMO:As cavernas são ambientes confinados e com menor influência direta da luz solar, aspectos fundamentais que regem os padrões atmosféricos em seu interior, caracterizando os espeleoclimas. O Brasil possui vastas áreas cársticas, com diversas cavernas com uso atual e potencial para uso turístico. Neste contexto, realizou-se um estudo espeleoclimático na gruta do Mateus, em Bonito-MS, para verificar suas condições de uso turístico, em conjunto com outros estudos de seu Plano de Manejo Espeleológico. Foram estudadas a temperatura e umidade relativa do ar, além de visitas-piloto para identificar impactos antrópicos nas variáveis ambientais. Em síntese, a temperatura externa variou entre 7,9 °C e 45,5 °C, e a umidade relativa do ar entre 9,7% e 99,9%. No ambiente interno típico, a temperatura oscilou entre 21,6 °C e 24,2 °C, e a umidade relativa entre 54,4% e 99,9%. A análise dos dados obtidos por meio de agrupamentos hierárquicos e coeficientes de correlação permitiu a identificação de duas zonas no interior da caverna, além do microclima externo. Estas foram classificadas dentro dos níveis baixo e médio de fragilidade do espeleoclima, considerando também o impacto comprovado de 0,2 °C gerado por grupos de visitantes no interior da caverna. Assim, conclui-se que a gruta do Mateus é apta para o turismo sob a ótica do espeleoclima, considerando o baixo impacto produzido pelas visitas-piloto, o rápido retorno da temperatura ao seu estado estacionário após o impacto e a fluidez da visitação em função da gruta possuir dois acessos distintos. SPELEOCLIMATE CHARACTERIZATION OF GROTTO OF MATEUS (BONITO COUNTY, BRAZIL) AND APLICATIONS IN SPELEOLOGICAL AND TOURIST MANAGEMENT ABSTRACT:Caves are confined environments with less influence of the direct sunlight. These essential aspects conducts internal atmospheric patterns characterizing the speleoclimate. Brazil has extensive areas of karst, with several show caves and others with great tourist potential. In this context, a study was done about the speleoclimate of grotto of Mateus , located in Bonito county, to observe its tourist potential along with other studies of its plan of speleological management. Temperature and humidity were studied as well as pilot-visits to identify anthropic impacts on the environment. In synthesis the external temperature fluctuated between 7,9 °C to 45,5 °C and the humidity between 9,7% to 99,9%. In a typical internal environment, the temperature ranged between 21,6 °C to 24,2 °C, and the humidity 54,4% to 99,9%. The analyses of the data obtained by hierarchical clustering and correlation coefficients allowed an identification of two atmospheric zones inside of the cave as well as the external microclimate.
