Project Management by Multimoora as an Instrument for Transition Economies / Projektų Vadyba Su Multimoora Kaip Priemonė Pereinamojo Laikotarpio Ūkiams

Abstract: The countries of Central and Eastern Europe moved from a previously centrally planned economy to a modern transition economy with strong market aspects. This paper proposes project management as an answer to this transition. Traditional Cost‐Benefit analysis does not respond to this purpose. Indeed Cost‐Benefit analysis is only interested in one specific project and not in a competition between projects. In addition all goals (objectives) have to be translated into money terms, leading sometimes to immoral con… Show more

“…This method was developed (Brauers & Zavadskas, 2010) and became MULTIMOORA (MOORA plus the full multiplicative form). These methods have been applied in different studies (Brauers, Ginevičius, Zavadskas, & Antuchevičienė, 2007;Brauers & Ginevičius, 2009;Brauers & Zavadskas 2009;Baležentis A., Baležentis, T., & Valkauskas, 2010;Brauers, Ginevičius, & Podvezko, 2010).…”

“…The Full Multiplicative Form of Multiple Objectives and MULTIMOORA Brauers and Zavadskas (2010) proposed updated MOORA with the Full Multiplicative Form method embodying maximization as well as minimization of purely multiplicative utility function. Overall utility of the j-th alternative can be expressed as dimensionless number (4) …”

“…In our study, we shall apply the MULTIMOORA method for the multicriteria assessment of farming efficiency in the EU Member States. This method was introduced and developed by Brauers and Zavadskas (2006Zavadskas ( , 2010a. MULTIMOORA was applied in regional development studies (Brauers, Zavadskas, 2010b;Baležentis, Baležentis, 2011b).…”

“…The MULTIMOORA is a robustness MCDM method, which 388 determines the ranking of alternatives based on dominance 389 theory [12]. In the second stage of the proposed model, 390 the normal MULTIMOORA is extended to the uncertain 391 linguistic environment (called UL-MULTIMOORA) to derive 392 the ranking priority of EVCS sites.…”

“…51 Selection of the best site for an EVCS can be regarded 52 as a complicated multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) 53 problem, which often involve many conflicting criteria, such 54 as operational benefit, effects on ecological environment, and 55 harmonization between EVCS and urban development [8]. 56 MULTIMOORA (Multi-objective optimization by ratio analy-57 sis plus full multiplicative form) is a method newly developed 58 by Brauers and Zavadskas [12] to deal with MCDM problems. 59 It is more comprehensive than other MCDM methods since it 60 consists of three different parts, i.e., the ratio system, the refer-61 ence point and the full multiplicative form.…”
