Progressively Censored Data Analysis

Abstract

Statistical analysis of progressively censored data has received much attention during the past decades. This article features different statistical analysis procedures for data obtained with a progressive censoring scheme (PCS). In Section 1, valid and efficient statistical analysis procedures for PCS with progressive staggering and nonstaggering entry plans for the units are considered. The statistical analysis procedures, including estimation, prediction, and goodness‐of‐fit procedures, for PCS in the context of life testing are presented in Section 2.
