Abstract:Anode-less sodium−metal batteries (SMBs) with high theoretical capacity and low cost are promising candidates for next-generation rechargeable batteries. However, the poor cyclability resulting from uneven Na deposition with unstable solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) and accumulative dead sodium has severely impeded their practical use. This work proposed a simple strategy, that is, coating current collector with Ketjenblack, which could maintain good cycling stability in anode-less SMBs. Moreover, in situ EP… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
