Progressive Failure Analysis of Plain Weaves Using Damage Mechanics Based Constitutive Laws

Abstract: The behavior of plain woven fabric composites is studied using three-dimensional finite elements which allows detailed modeling of the geometric complexities and spatial material variations within the fabric.
