Abstract:Matrix crack propagation and stiffness degradation behaviors of the carbon fiber reinforced polymer/titanium alloy (CFRP/Ti) bolted joint were characterized by a synergistic damage mechanics approach. The parametric study including pre‐tightening torques and interference fit sizes was conducted.
