Progress of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Treatment in Ulcerative Colitis

Abstract

At present, in the lack of special means in the fundamental treatment of ulcerative colitis, easy to appear in the long treatment cycle, side effects and other problems, patients are difficult to adhere to, can not effectively solve the problem. While Chinese and Western medicine can support the prevention and treatment of ulcerative colitis, but there is a lack of unified guidance of integrated Chinese and western medicine. The author summarized the theories and treatment methods of traditional Chinese and western medicine, combined with the etiology and pathogenesis, clinical syndrome differentiation and the research results of modern traditional Chinese and western medicine, sorted out the treatment of ulcerative colitis, and analyzed the existing problems, in order to better serve the clinical practice and benefit the patients.
