Abstract:Ferroptosis is a new method of programmed cell death, which is different from other cell death. It is characterized by cytoplasmic membrane blistering, chromatin condensation, mitochondrial shrinkage, volume reduction, membrane density increase, cristae reduction or disappearance, mitochondrial outer membrane rupture, and nuclear membrane integrity.
