Abstract:Most of Level 3 airports worldwide face severe congestion and flight delays. Optimal allocating airport slots is one of the most effective ways in airport demand management. Here we systematically review the progress of research in airport slots allocation, as well as the main techniques in setting airport declared capacity and allocating slots.
