Program Pemberantasan Nyamuk Penyebar DBD Dengan Metode Community Based Research (Cbr) Di Desa Rejomulyo Lampung Selatan

Abstract

AbstrakDesa Rejomulyo berada di Kecamatan Tanjung Bintang, Lampung Selatan, Provinsi Lampung, dimana penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) masih menjadi masalah di desa tersebut dengan ditemukannya 2 (dua) kasus penderita DBD ditahun 2020 dan 1 (satu) kasus di akhir tahun 2021. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pemberantasan nyamuk penyebar DBD dengan fogging dan penyuluhan kepada warga desa Rejomulyo adalah untuk meniadakan kasus DBD dan mengendalikan vektor penyakit dengan cara memberantas jentik dan nyamuk dewasa sekaligus dilakukan penyuluhan kepada warga desa Rejomulyo agar masyarakat paham tentang cara pengendalian penyakit DBD dan berperan aktif dalam kegiatan PSN (Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk). Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah Community Based Research (CBR) yang merupakan pendekatan dengan melibatkan masyarakat di berbagai level peran dan partisipasi, yang akan memberi manfaat bagi komunitas atau masyarakat itu sendiri. Hasil dari kegiatan ini telah dievaluasi dan diketahui bahwa tidak ditemukan penderita demam berdarah dalam 3 (tiga) bulan terakhir setelah kegiatan dilakukan penyuluhan ke warga mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengetahuan masyarakat, dan upaya untuk menghentikan penularan penyakit demam berdarah melalui fogging diapresiasi dengan baik oleh masyarakat Desa Rejomulyo dengan berpartisipasi aktif dalam semua rangkaian kegiatan. AbstractRejomulyo Village is located in Tanjung Bintang District, South Lampung in Lampung Province. Dengue fever is still a problem based on data obtained from two cases of sufferers in 2020 and one case at the end of 2021. The program has aimed to eradicate mosquitoes that spread dengue by fogging and counseling the residents of Rejomulyo village. The activity is to eliminate dengue cases, control the larvae and adult mosquito vectors and organize counseling for the residents so that the community understands how to control the dengue disease and plays an active role in mosquito nest elimination. The method of this activity uses the Community Based Research (CBR) that will be involving the community at various levels of roles and participation that will benefit the community or society itself. The results of the program showed that dengue fever sufferers were not found in the last 3 (three) months after the activity was held. The socialization program to the community showed an increase in public understanding. They already had efforts to stop the transmission of dengue fever through fogging. The whole program was well appreciated by the people of Rejomulyo village by actively participated in all program's steps.
