Prognostic value of FDG-PET scans at diagnosis in small cell lung cancer

Abstract: Background: Small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC) is one of the most aggressive solid tumors. The predictive and prognostic role of positron emission tomography (PET) scans in SCLC is under investigation and is yet to be determined.
