Abstract: Background Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is the most common histological subtype of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), with poor treatment outcomes worldwide. Dynamin-related protein 1 (DRP1), which is encoded by the dynamin 1-like ( DNM1L ) gene, acts as a regulator of mitochondrial fission and plays crucial roles in tumor initiation and progression.
