Prognosis of implants placed simultaneously with periodontal surgery of the adjacent tooth

Abstract: This study examined the effects of periodontal disease on implants placed simultaneously with adjacent periodontal surgery through an evaluation of the survival rate, success rate, and marginal bone loss of the implants. In total, 11 implants were placed in nine patients. Regenerative surgery including guided tissue regeneration was performed in eight patients.
