Profile of extrahepatic portal venous obstruction among children in Central India

Abstract: IntroductionThere is a paucity of data regarding the clinical profile of children with extrahepatic portal venous obstruction (EHPVO) from Central India.Material and methodsRetrospective analysis of 30 children with EHPVO treated between 2002 and 2012.ResultsThe median age of presentation was 12.5 years (range 5-14 years) and median duration of symptoms was 3.2 years (range 0.3-10 years).
