Professional associations in clinical psychology.

Abstract: Associations and societies exist to support and advance common interests. This is true in social life as well as in professional circles. Associations provide those with similar interests an opportunity to meet, exchange information, network, and inform others of the group's perspective. Associations offer fellowship, education, and advocacy.

An operational definition describes the operations (procedures, actions, or processes) by which it could be observed and measured [VandenBos 2017].
