While most of the recent industrial relations analyses have dealt with the positions and activities of managers, in the present research project, both workers and managers are considered in light of their opinion on the forms and functioning of the industrial relations. The aim of the main part of the project (a survey carried out in middle-and large-sized companies through an extended questionnaire, with 582 respondents) was to explore relations between the above mentioned issue and the political or socio-political orientations of the workers. This article presents the first results regarding the workers' attitudes.
