Abstract:This paper presents the results of studies on the reduction of dispersed cobalt and nickel metal powders from their salts in ammonia-alkaline aqueous solutions under hydrothermal autoclave conditions. A unified and environmentally friendly method for producing these powders has been developed. Hydrazine hydrate, with a 25–50 % excess of the stoichiometric ratio, was used as a reducing agent.
