Abstract: The present work deals with the production of cellulosic microfibers (CMFs) from coffee pulp. The experimental development corresponds to an experimental design of three variables (concentration, temperature and time) of alkaline treatment for delignification, finding that concentration, temperature and time were the most representative variables.
