“…In this study the moisture content of the oil was 0.14, this compared favorably with the value of 0.12% obtained by oliveira et al [11]. On the other hand moisture content was lower than the study obtained by Santos et al [35], who reported that moisture content of oil extracted from Tilapia processing wastes was 0.3% as well as 0.28% obtained for oil extracted from fish canning industry wastes [40]. The low moisture content obtained in this study was comparable to the values reported in the literature.…”
