Abstract:The ignition of anthracite with arc plasma has not been applied due to its low chemical effect and volatile content in anthracite. The nonequilibrium plasma generated by a microwaveinduced discharge has the ability to break branch chains and aromatic ring structures by kinetic effects, which has the potential for anthracite cracking and ignition.
