Block copolymers: MOPEO-b-PААm and PААm-b-PЕО-b-PААm contained poly(ethylene oxide), its monomethyl ether and chemically complementary polyacrylamide were and used as special matrices in the borohydride reduction of Ag + ions.Ag-nanoparticles in the structure of compositions were obtained. The effect of chemical nature, molecular architecture and size stabilization of silver nanoparticles in bulk structure was shown.

Syntheses of Silver Nanoparticles in the Matrices of Block and Graft Copolymers and Polymer‐Inorganic Hybrid in Aqueous Solutions

In the present work we have synthesized two-component block-and graft copolymers MOPEO-b-PAAm, PAAm-b-PEO-b-PAAm and PVA-g-PAAm comprised methoxypoly(ethylene oxide), poly(ethylene oxide) or poly(vinyl alcohol) and chemically complementary polyacrylamide and also the grafted polymer-inorganic hybrid SiO 2 -g-PAAm based on monodispersed silica nanoparticles. These copolymers we used as special matrices in the process of borohydride reduction of Agþ ions. It was established the influence of chemical nature, molecular architecture and concentration of the matrices and the content of silver nitrate on some reaction parameters, size and stability of Ag-nanoparticles in aqueous solutions.

Micellization and Structure of MOPEO‐b‐PCL Copolymers and Their Application as Nanocontainers for Drugs

Summary: Diblock copolymers (DBCs) of MOPEO-b-PCL containing biocompatible and biodegradable components: hydrophilic methoxypoly-(ethylene oxide) (M n ¼ 2.5 kDa ¼ const) and hydrophobic poly(e-caprolactone) of a variable chain length (M n ¼ 2.8 Ä 24.3 kDa) were synthesized by an anionic ring-opening block copolymerization. Their chemical and microphase structure were characterized using FTIR, NMR, DSC and WAXS. Self-assembly of pure DBCs and those at the presence of a model drug prednisolon (PS) in dioxane/aqueous solutions was studied using visible spectroscopy and static light scattering. Increasing in the micellar stability at the PCL block lengthening and PS addition was revealed. The drug binding by DBC micelles due to hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic interactions was confirmed by FTIR.
