“…The optimization of the spray drying of umbu juice and Dracocephalum moldavica demonstrates how the influence of the parameters changes according to the response. However, inlet temperature and feed flow were the parameters with the greatest influence on responses in general, as observed in this work (Rahmati et al, 2020;Souza et al, 2020).…”

“…In this context, the sample feedin, and inlet temperature were the main factors that provided interaction and important modification of the experimental responses of the study of the drying process of S. mombin extracts, including product yield, residual moisture, and TPC (Table 5). Such as in this work, in other studies to optimize spray drying from complex matrices (with chemical complexity), parameters as inlet temperature and feed rate are widely explored (Rahmati et al, 2020;Souza et al, 2020;Zhu et al, 2019). The optimization of these parameters brings satisfactory results when considering the characteristics intended for the dry product, although the influence of these parameters may differ according to the properties studied.…”

“…Furthermore, this herb has been used in traditional Uygur herbal drugs for headache, liver disorders and cardiovascular diseases, such as coronary heart disease, for many centuries [20]. This herbaceous plant has been reported to contain active components with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, such as hydroxycinnamic acids, flavonoids and rosmarinic acid [21,22]. Rosmarinic acid (RA) has also been reported to significantly inhibit lung cell apoptosis and decrease the level of p53 in LPS-induced septic mice by inhibiting the activation of the GRP78/IRE1alpha/JNK pathway [23].…”
