Abstract:Recently, Met-Solve Laboratories, in conjunction with Sepro Mineral Systems, has conducted a number of pilot scale test programs utilizing the Condor centrifugal, multi-stage, dense media separation system. The mechanical design, operational advantages and findings from pilot plant tests and heavy liquid test results are presented herein. The use of heavy liquid for bench scale simulation and results are also discussed. Bench Scale Simulation-Heavy Liquid Separation Although not economically feasible in large … Show more

Section: Hematite Beneficiation Tails Of Magnitogorskiy Metallurgical Plant (Mmp) Accord-mentioning
This article evaluates a new procedure for choosing special methods of disintegration for technogenic rock materials with fines and slimes. The article describe different examples of beneficiation technology for chromium-containing slime tails of the Donskoy beneficiation plant (Republic of Kazakhstan), hematite tails of Magnitogorskiy Metallurgical Plant, and tin waste with fines particles.
Keywords: fine slimes, environmental component, technological schemes, Preparation technogenic waste
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
