Proboscis Lateralis With Basal Encephalocele: A Report of Clinical Management and Reconstructive Approach

Abstract: Proboscis lateralis is a rare craniofacial anomaly in which a rudimentary nasal appendage arises at the medial canthal area. The severity depends on organ involvement, including eyes, nose, cleft lip/palate, and/or concomitant intracranial anomalies.
