Abstract:Helicobacter pylori infection remains the leading cause of a number of gastroduodenal diseases. Although various eradication regimens are used to reduce associated morbidity and mortality, the prevalence of this bacterial infection is still disproportionately high worldwide, mainly due to antibiotic resistance.
