Problems of Access to Services at Railway Stations in Freight Transport in the Slovak Republic

Abstract: The article deals with the issue of access of freight carriers to services in railway stations. With the liberalization of the rail freight market, the number of carriers is gradually increasing. In this situation, infrastructure capacity is often insufficient. Therefore, it is necessary to set the order of access to services in railway stations. The article will use the process of analytical hierarchy as one of many methods of multicriteria analysis. Four important indicators will be selected for carriers: ra… Show more

“…In that case, the zero fuzziness coefficients should be aced with positive coefficients belonging to interval (0,1) so that the membership functions intersect point whose Y-coordinate lies outside interval [0,1]. Moreover, the following operations are true: 𝑐𝑐 = 𝑛𝑛, 𝛽𝛽 + 𝛾𝛾 = 0, then, to calculate 𝐵𝐵(𝑋𝑋 ≥ 𝑌𝑌), coefficients 𝛽𝛽, 𝛾𝛾 can be replaced with any positive ber; 𝑐𝑐 = 𝑛𝑛, 𝛼𝛼 + 𝛿𝛿 = 0, then, to calculate 𝐻𝐻(𝑋𝑋 > 𝑌𝑌), coefficients 𝛼𝛼, 𝛿𝛿 can be replaced with any positive ber; 𝑐𝑐 = 𝑛𝑛, 𝛼𝛼 + 𝛾𝛾 = 0, then 𝐻𝐻(𝑋𝑋 ≥ 𝑌𝑌) = 0; 𝑐𝑐 = 𝑛𝑛, 𝛽𝛽 + 𝛿𝛿 = 0, then 𝐵𝐵(𝑋𝑋 > 𝑌𝑌) = 0. mple [2] includes any OD pair that does not belong to be used later on in this paper to solve a discrete programming problem using the d method. measures, and H are necessity measures [4].…”
