Background: New normality is uncertain in every sense, specifically in education and for many health disciplines. Being immersed in COVID-19 pandemics brought serious consequences for mental health, and is very important to handle emotions and stress coping strategies to obtain positive outcomes. Objective: To identify the most frequent emotions, as well as the adaptation strategies to the new normality faced by the students of nursing. Methods: Qualitative and phenomenological research, with the participation of 20 students from both genders in the middle term of nursing career at Faculty of Higher Studies Iztacala, National Autonomous University of Mexico, from August to November 2021. Information was collected from a focal group for ten sessions; analysis was according to De Souza Minayo, and there was a signed informed consent letter from participants. Results: Four categories emerged with sub-categories. Category I Maximized emotions. Sub-categories: 1) Frustration, anger, disappointment; 2) Personal disappointment, hopelessness, uncertainty; 3) Depression. Category II Support elements close to the new normality. Sub-categories: 1) Family communication; 2) Education for mental and physical health. Category III Stressing situations that exceeded the student. Sub-category: Disease in lovely ones. Category IV Stress coping strategies. Sub-categories: 1) Friends and relatives that help to get better; 2) Family values. Informers pointed out to have maximized emotion, and having no self-control on its negative outcomes occurred; in addition, the situation was not favorable at home with several losses of loved ones, as well as a poor economy that threatened students to give up studies. There are great differences between PBL model and traditional teaching model in terms of teaching design concept, implementation method and teaching performance evaluation in Chinese higher education. The author provides an overview of PBL's evolution, design idea, implementation strategy, benefits over the conventional model, current state of use, and future prospects in Chinese and English higher education. The "project-based learning" (PBL) refers to a teaching strategy that separates the material to be instructed into diverse communities based on the physical and mental traits of the students and splits the subject matter into multiple tasks in order to keep the teaching prerequisites as well as to fulfill the real the society's needs for schoolchildren. The generated projects are used as the basis for teaching, which allows the students to participate fully in the project's learning process. The advantages of this approach are: In an integrated learning environment, students build their own expertise and comprehension in a way that is long-lasting and reliable, they learn how to communicate through problem-solving and construct their their own expertise and comprehension in a coordinated manner.

Confinement was a helpful measure to avoid virus propagation, but social isolation and the massive closure of face-to face activities in educational institutions, impacted negatively in mental health of students, it increased stress and anxiety in adolescents, affecting their communication skills in this significant step of interpersonal relationships, and the search for their identity. The lockdown in addition to stress and anxiety triggered fear emotions, frustration, worrying and anger, as well as changes in driving energy, diminishing interest and desires. This work aimed to analyze the impact on mental health in first year secondary school adolescents after the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. Method: Qualitative and phenomenological research, 25 students of first year from a public secondary school of Mexico's metropolitan area participated in the study; they were girls and boys 12 -13 years old. Data collection was through a semi-structured interview, testimonials and anecdotes, in two hour sessions, along a week; research team recorded the interviews, testimonials and anecdotes. A signed informed consent was obtained from school authorities, parents and the assent of students. Obtained qualitative data were analyzed according to De Souza Minayo.
