Probing the effects of dimension-eight operators describing anomalous neutral triple gauge boson interactions at FCC-hh

Abstract: The effects of dimension-eight operators giving rise to anomalous neutral triple gauge boson interactions of Zγγ and ZγZ vertices in pp → l − l + γ and pp → ννγ are investigated at 100 TeV centre of mass energy of future circular hadron collider (FCC-hh). The transverse momentum of photon, invariant mass of l − l + γ and angular distribution of charged lepton in the rest frame of l − l + and Missing Energy Transverse (MET) are considered in the analysis. The realistic detector effects are also included with De… Show more

“…It is also known that considerable attention has been paid to the investigation of anomalous triple gauge boson couplings of the electroweak sector [6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]. The interest in studying these couplings is mainly due to the possibility of providing a better understanding of the electroweak symmetry breaking mechanism and tests the predictions in collider experiments.…”

“…A recent study shows that the existence of dimension-8 operators is necessary as long as the dimension-6 operators exist in the convex geometry point of view to the SMEFT space [54]. Besides, there are cases that the contributions from dimension-6 operators are absent [37,38,[55][56][57][58][59]. Moreover, aQGCs can lead to richer helicity combinations than dimension-6 aTGCs [60].…”

“…The constraints on dimension eight operatos in the pp → llγ and pp → ννγ processes have been studied for a 100 TeV center of mass energy collider (FCC-hh) [6]. In this analysis we focus on CP-conserving C BW and CP-violating C BB , C BW , C W W couplings via pp → ννγ As it can be seen from Fig.3 and Fig.…”
