Harvesting fog is a potential and effective way to alleviate the crisis of water resource shortage. A highly efficient and economical fog harvesting method has always been a global and common goal. Here, a promising fog harvesting method by coupling plasma and micro/nano materials is proposed, which can achieve 93% fog collection efficiency with consuming power of only 0.76 W/0.04 m 2 . The basic method is to utilize nanoparticles to decorate both the discharge electrode and the collecting electrode of the micro/nano electrostatic fog collector. For the discharge electrode, the nanoparticles can achieve an order of magnitude higher electric field strength and a 28.6% decrease in the operating voltage (14 kV decreases to 10 kV). For the collecting electrode, a novel composite structure of hydrophobic/hydrophilic (HB/HL) is proposed. The core advantage is the directional droplet transport at the junction of HB and HL caused by surface tension can adjust the accumulated droplets on the two sides, which avoids the droplet residue and mesh blockage in the general structure. This technology provides an innovative approach for the collection of microdroplets and a new design idea for the fog collector to deal with the water crisis.

The study's overarching goal was to examine the dynamics of geomorphological interaction and their effects on the urban expansion of the Weija-Gbawe Municipality in Ghana's Greater Accra Region. The study deployed a quantitative research approach to achieve the objective. A descriptive research design was used in collecting and analyzing data from three hundred and fifty-one (351) participants with a closed-ended questionnaire. The study employed a cluster sampling technique to select the participants based on areas with high concentrations of built-ups and other areas with low concentrations. Using the important relative index (RII), the fundamental level is ranked by the index. SPSS version 26 was used to analyse the data, and the results are shown in a descriptive frequency distribution table. The findings revealed population growth in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality as the main human factor transforming the landscapes' geomorphology, as residents change the landscape for human occupation and industrial uses. Similarly, the topographical terrain, emphasizing slope and elevation were the predominant geomorphological characteristic modifying urban expansion in the Municipality, as settlements were mainly distributed on flat terrain, and the elevation and slope were significant constraints for expansion of the city. Furthermore, urban land utilization in the Weija Gbawe Municipality is distinguished by an industrialized economy and built-up facilities. The paper concludes that applying geographic information systems, remote sensing, and field surveys is essential for generating comprehensive knowledge of urban and anthropocene geomorphology; this is possible through the use of GIS and remote sensing in analyzing the land use land cover changes in the study area. The study suggests enacting, enforcing environmental by-laws, intensifying, and restructuring environmental education by various stakeholders, including the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Municipality's Physical Planning Agency (PPA). This could be done by bridging the weak linkage between land use/road planning and aborting applications received which were not in line with the planning standards and approving those that are accurate and standard.

Creating a structure for allocating water from common pool resources is a serious problem in agricultural water management. In this research, an attempt has been made based on bi-objective optimization and the non-dominated theory to create the water allocation models for the cultivation pattern. The water allocated in each irrigation event was defined as the decision variable in this structure. Two objective functions include the following: (1) maximizing and minimizing the water allocation and (2) minimizing conflicts between beneficiaries in the Hebei Plain. Conflicts between beneficiaries were formulated based on the ratio between the crop area and water allocation and were defined by an inertia weight to increase its effect on the final iterations of the process. The Whale Optimization Algorithm was included as a bi-objective algorithm in the decision-making process. The number of decision variables and feasible domains in each decision model is different and creates a crowding distance for competition between operators. The results showed that the water allocation planning structure based on the evaluation index had the best solution front.
