Digital transformation necessitates fundamental changes in business processes, business models, and even cultures of the companies. DT projects provide a substantial value to the business competition and effect their market shares. In order to reach these results, digital transformation projects should be carefully analyzed and evaluated. In this paper, we focus on digital transformation project prioritization problem under multiple criteria. Just like many other technology related decisions, digital transformation problems are inherently uncertain, which leads researchers to employ the fuzzy set theory. Interval Valued Type-2 Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IVT2IFS) are a relatively new extension of fuzzy sets which take into account membership and non-membership values as an interval. In this paper, we utilize Interval Valued Type-2 Intuitionistic Fuzzy TOPSIS method for a digital transformation project prioritization problem and apply the model to a real-world example.

Supply chain has a very extensive and dynamic structure that incorporates new business models, new customer expectations, market searches and technological developments. With the introduction of Industry 4.0 into supply chain, a rapid and intensive process of digitalization begin to transform every step of supply chain. Supply chain selection is one of the essential decisions in reducing the supply chain cost and improving overall quality of product and services. With the implication of digital technologies and Industry 4.0 on supply chain, the supplier selection process has been significantly changed during the recent years. Companies are willing to need new requirements for their own suppliers in accordance with Industry 4.0 implementations and technologies. This paper aims to identify key criteria to Industry 4.0 technologies and evaluate them to select the right suppliers selection in the era of Industry 4.0 Within the scope of this study attempts to develop an integrated Interval Type 2 Fuzzy AHP and GOPRAS-G methodology to select the appropriate supplier in the face of Industry 4.0 implementations. For this purpose, Interval Type 2 Fuzzy AHP was employed to weight the supplier evaluation criteria and then, Grey COPRAS method has been applied to prioritize suppliers. This paper is to provide practitioners and researchers with insight into how Industry 4.0 strategies influence on supplier selection.

The degree of type-1 fuzzy sets membership function cannot express the linguistic variable of a complex problem. The type-2 fuzzy sets as a problem solver such that more fuzziness for constructing membership functions can be handled. Recently, many multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) methods have been expanded using type-2 fuzzy sets. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is one of the well-known MCDM that can take into account multiple and conflicting criteria at the same time. Our goal is to develop an interval type-2 trapezoidal fuzzy AHP through the new proposed ranking i.e. the modified total integral value. Based on the illustrative examples for trapezoidal type-2 fuzzy sets, the new proposed ranking has a well-performance in ranking. Furthermore, we apply the new trapezoidal type-2 fuzzy AHP to a supplier selection problem. Based on the results of the application, the new fuzzy AHP has the same ranking results as the existing fuzzy AHP.
