The goal of the research is to study the effectiveness of the use of adaptogenic preparations of the Natural Plant Complex “White Pearl” line to increase the yield and quality of apples. The objects of the studies were the apple cultivar “Sinap Orlovsky” and adaptogenic preparations: phytomodulator “White Pearl Universal Antifreeze” and phytocorrector “White Pearl Drip Ca + Mg”. The experiment used the following variants: 1—control (foliar sprays with water); 2—foliar sprays with adaptogenic preparations: 1% solution of “White Pearl Universal Antifreeze” + 1% solution of “White Pearl Drip Ca + Mg”. As a result of the complex use of biological products, the yield was significantly increased by 1.7 times and the average fruit weight was increased by 20.3 g. The adaptogenic preparations increased the yield of marketable apple fruits by 14.8% and contributed to a 2.5-fold decrease in fruits affected by scald and a 2-fold decrease in bitter pitting. The adaptogenic preparations improved the taste qualities of “Sinap Orlovsky” fruits compared to the control by increasing the amount of sucrose by 25.6% and ascorbic acid by 20.5%. The conducted tests of adaptogenic preparations in apple plantations show the prospects of their use as additional techniques in traditional apple cultivation technologies.

In 2021–2022, experiments were conducted at the Laboratory of Fruit Crop Resistance Physiology, All-Russia Institute for Fruit Crops Breeding (VNIISPK), to investigate the action of the “White Pearl Antifreeze” (Belyi Zhemchug Antifriz) phytomodulator and the “White Pearl Drip Ca + Mg” (Belyi Zhemchug Drip Ca+Mg) phytocorrector produced by the AgroPlus Group of Companies, LLC. Experimental and control plots were characterized by dark-gray forest soils with a humus content of 3-4 % and a humus horizon thickness of 30–35 cm. Apple trees cv. Sinap Orlovsky (VNIISPK) grafted on semi-dwarf rootstock 54-118 were planted in 2013 according to a 6 x 3 m scheme. Natural grassing was used in row spacings; herbicides were applied around the seedlings. The experimental design included: 1) control (water treatment) and 2) foliar treatment with a 1 % solution of “White Pearl Antifreeze” + a 1 % solution of “White Pearl Drip Ca+Mg”. The experiment was conducted in three replications with five observed trees in each. Our aim was to assess the effect of the mentioned preparations on the spring frost tolerance, yield, and quality of apple fruit under the weather conditions of 2021. Foliar treatments with the studied preparations reduced the frost damage to Sinap Orlovsky apple buds by 6.3 % at -3.5 °С and by 10.4 % at -4 °С. The conducted summer foliar treatments with the organomineral mixture under study intensified the growth and ripening of apple fruit. The improved protein-carbohydrate metabolism, water regime, photosynthetic activity, and donor-acceptor leaf–fruit relations increased the fruit weight by 10 g and the yield by 1.8 times. The conclusion is made that the B-PLUS “White Pearl Antifreeze” preparation exhibits a complex effect in terms of increasing plant tolerance to low-temperature spring damage, thus improving the yield and quality of apple crops.

In this work, we investigate the harmful effect of codling moth in industrial fruit plantations of Krasnodar Krai. An analysis of growing expenditures on protective measures is carried out in connection with the high dynamics of macroeconomic processes and sanction measures. A correlation between the distribution of codling moth and the magnitude of climate change is noted. The need to increase the efficiency of measures aimed at the development and implementation of plantation and crop protection is highlighted. According to long-term research studies into the bioecological features of the phytophage development during vegetation, its following adaptation features are established: high adaptivity to variable weather conditions; high potential of pest resurgence during one vegetation period; changes in the pest phenology; an increase in the overall number of pests in those sections of the orchard where trees grow for 15–16 years and more. A scheme for the automated control of monitoring processes, optimum regime selection, application of biorational systems of efficiency control based on digital technologies is proposed. The technology for managing biotechnological processes of fruit plantation protection is described in terms of functional components, including the formation of a system of ecological and economic parameters of implementing insecticides against harmful pests; development of multivariant models and adaptive instruments of phytosanitary stability management of apple-tree agrocenoses based on the criteria of biologicalization, ecologization, and rational nature management; monitoring of the number of pest populations; phytosanitary stability of apple-tree plantations; regulations for effective and safe use of biorational, low-toxic chemical and biological preparations of new generation in apple-tree plantations; evaluation of the action of the studied preparations on non-target organisms. The latter include fruit analysis for the presence of residual amounts of background and impact pesticides, determination of phytotoxic effects of used preparations on the protected plants, evaluation of the studied preparations action on associated pests. A comparative study of available technologies for crop protection against codling moth is carried out. The efficiency of biological methods in the field of crop protection is substantiated.
