Principles of a new regulatory base of engineering surveys for hydrotechnical construction

Abstract

Technical regulations in the field of engineering surveys are developed for substantiation of designs and construction of water-power projects.Over a period of no less than the last fifteen years, one of the most serious problems of engineering surveys for waterpower construction is the absence of a modern regulatorymethodical base. In all these years, engineering surveys verifying the design and construction of water-power structures have been regulated by departmental construction standards for geodetic-engineering, geologic-engineering, and hydrometeorologic-engineering surveys for hydrotechnical construction, which were issued by the Energy Ministry of the USSR in 1988 -1989.
