Primary Psoas Abscess in a Neonate

Abstract: A case of primary ileo-psoas abscess in a neonate is presented. Psoas abscess is extremely uncommon in this age group. The role of ultrasound and computed tomography in the diagnosis is demonstrated, and the need for antibiotic therapy is emphasized for a minimum period of 2 weeks.
