“…Alarm conditioning therapy is considered to give the best long‐term success rate [9]. Besides the currently used enuresis alarms, an ordinary alarm clock has been successful as a ‘no‐contact’ alarm that does not require bedwetting to initiate a conditioning reflex [10]. The disadvantages of the alarm method are the lengthy period between starting treatment and becoming dry (5–17 weeks) [8], disruption of the patient's sleep and the failure to comply with it in 10–30% of cases [8].…”
