Primary lymphoma of the urinary bladder: A case report

Abstract: We report a rare case of primary non-Hodgkin's B-cell lymphoma of the mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) type occurring in the urinary bladder. A 70-year-old woman presented with gross haematuria, and an abdominal CT scan revealed a bladder tumour which was resected endoscopically. Histopathological diagnosis was confirmed by immunohistochemical staining and treated successfully with radiotherapy.
