Abstract:BackgroundMyxofibrosarcoma (MFS) is most often found on the limbs of aged male people, but extremely uncommon in the liver.Case presentationA 52-year-old female patient with a liver mass was diagnosed as a primary MFS. It had no obvious abdominal symptoms, and the tumor was resected with an extended margin. Three years after the surgery, the patient was readmitted for peritoneal metastasis and passed away 4 months later.
