Have you ever had deja vu? Remember the nursing process? Years ago both the UKCC and the Department of Health took this on board and urged its implementation. As a result, there was, and still is, a tremendous amount of resistance and misunderstanding of the issue. When change is perceived as being forced on nurses from the top down then inevitably they will resist.
