“…The normal immunological mechanisms are modified in pregnancy, but these changes do not usually lead to adverse effects on the malignancy. Seventeen cases of bladder cancer in pregnancy have been reported in the English literature (Rajan et al, 1996) and here we report another case. Urological tumours are very uncommon in pregnancy but they represent particular problems in diagnosis and management.…”
