Pride and Purpose: reflections on timebanking practice for fostering social networks in wellbeing improvement schemes

Abstract: This paper explores the relationship between social capital and a community initiative known as timebanking. Its purpose is to offer a more critical account of the literature to date, which suggests timebanking generates improved health outcomes because it facilitates bridging social capital.
