Abstract:An algorithm was developed to accurately estimate the Doppler centroid, which is needed for highquality synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image formation by resolving the SAR pulse repetition frequency (PRF) ambiguity. The algorithm uses the SAR range migration to resolve the PRF-ambiguity by searching for a PRF-ambiguity number that minimizes the intensity contrast in the rangeDoppler domain. Experimental results show that the approach, compared with traditional methods for resolving the SAR PRF ambiguity, is mo… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
