Preventive Practices and Knowledge of Human Papillomavirus in Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser Syndrome Individuals

Abstract

Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser syndrome (MRKH) is a congenital disorder typified by an underdeveloped female reproductive tract. An exploratory online survey of adults with MRKH found that many did not recall receiving the HPV vaccine, and answers to knowledge questions suggested inadequate HPV counseling. However, recalled vaccine counseling was associated with improved uptake.
