Abstract:Background and Objective: Plant materials rich in antioxidant phytochemicals are able to offset the harmful effects of chemicals in the body. The antidiabetic and anti-hepatotoxic effects were investigated in STZ-induced diabetic rats fed a diet supplemented with Cucurbita maxima leaves.
