Abstract

Pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic interventions were evaluated, resulting in recommended for practice rating for catheter care bundles, antimicrobial prophylaxis, vaccination for specific populations, and implementation of contact precautions for resistant organisms.

“…No que diz respeito à Administração de antibioterapia, esta foi referida em 7 dos 9 estudos, apresentando-se como sendo uma intervenção de enfermagem de relevo para o cuidado ao doente neutropénico. Todos os estudos analisados foram unanimes ao referenciar que a antibioterapia deve ser realizada empiricamente, num curto espaço de tempo (inferior a uma hora após a documentação da febre), com a finalidade de minimizar o desenvolvimento rápido da infeção-minimizando a sua gravidade (Wilson, B. et al (2018); Campbell, J. et al (2016); Fowler, M. (2015); Leonard, K. (2012); Best, J. et al (2011); Roe, H., & Lennan, E. (2014); Khan, S. et al (2012).).
