Shlay et al [15] found 10.4% of LSIL and 2.5% of HSIL at a clinic for sexually transmitted diseases, and Nunez et al [16] detected 12.1% of LSIL and 1.8% of HSIL among prostitutes. Therefore, screening for early detection of pre‐invasive and invasive lesions of the cervix is particularly important in populations at high risk.…”
