Prevalence of Listeria monocytogenes, E. coli, Salmonella Spp. and Staphylococcus aureus Bacteria Contamination on Meat at Public Market in the North of Vietnam

Abstract: The Listeria monocytogenes were resistant to amoxicilline (77.7%), nitrofurantoin, ceftazidime, and oxytetracycline (3.7%), and 11.1% were resistant to Erythromycin; Staphylococcus aureus were resistant to amoxicilline (82.7%), nitrofurantoin (4.3%), erythromycin (15.5%), and 3.4% were resistant to ceftazidime; E. coli were resistant to ceftazidime (3.7%), kanamycin (7.5%), rifampicin (6.3%), bacitracin (48.1%), and 1.2% were resistant to oxytetracycline; Salmonella spp. bacteria isolates were resistant to kan… Show more
