Prevalence of knee pain and knee OA in southern Sweden and the proportion that seeks medical care

Abstract: Fifteen per cent of middle-aged or elderly individuals have knee OA and symptoms. About one in three of those do not consult a physician. Inefficient care of OA and self-coping may be an explanation.
