Prevalence of Iron Deficiency in Thalassemia Trait: A study in BSMMU, Dhaka

Abstract: Background: Thalassemia is considered the most common genetic disorder worldwide and about 7% of world populations are carriers. A vast majority of such cases have iron deficiency.
